Pool Compliance is mandatory
We understand the importance of pool safety and compliance. Before the pool is accessible to the users, it is mandatory for the owners to ensure the safety. According to the Victorian building association’s pool safety rules and regulations a pool must be at its utmost safety in order to be used. Any pool that is built on the Victorian soil needs to be registered with the council. These rules do not affect movable or retractable pools, they have been kept void from these regulations.
So if you are an owner and there is a pool on your land you need to get the pool registered with the council and need to have a compliance certificate in order to make the pool accessible. Failure to do so or pools without a compliance certificate can result in a fine by the authorities.
